What we do
Uniting Resources - Risk and Insurance Services manages the insurance program on behalf of the Synod of NSW and the ACT, the National Assembly and the Northern Synod.
The Synod’s Insurance Program
The UCA’s, insurance program is extensive and complex, covering some 3000 properties with an insured value of over $4 billion. In addition the motor vehicle fleet has grown to around 1500 units. A summary of the covers in place can be found in the Insurance Manual located on this website.
UR Risk & Insurance Services is also involved in key stakeholder risk management projects which are designed to enhance the risk profile of the church’s insurable and non-insurable risk and mitigate losses.

Claims
UR Risk and Insurance Services has appointed Proclaim to administer all claims excluding motor vehicle. Lumley Insurance, our motor vehicle insurer should be contacted for all motor claims. Contact details can be found on the website.
When an incident and/or claim occur it is imperative to notify Proclaim or Lumley as soon as practicable, whilst details of the incident are readily available.
